It is that time of year. Time for the “fall back” time change.
Before we had kids it meant another hour to sleep but unfortunately our little ones never seem to get that memo! So how can we help in this process?
Well starting tomorrow I recommend moving your child’s nap and bedtime earlier by 15 minute intervals. So if nap time is normally at 1pm then starting tomorrow put him/her down at 12:45pm, then 12:30pm on Friday, 12:15pm on Saturday and by Sunday you will be at the new time.
Make sure they get lots of sunshine during the few days after the time change since our body clock is set by the sun.
Give yourself and your child a couple days to adjust and all will be well!
